The speed cage inside the structure is made of a thin but strong material that secures the foot to the outsole without adding extra weight for optimal locking.

So far fits my daughter very well. Plenty of room in the front and snug in the heel. No foot pain so far. These boots have a perfect fit that prevents any discomfort.
